I think my 68 had a little square flasher, that clipped into a bracket along side the (by 68 mandatory) hazards flasher. Of course it now has a round one that dangles.
The bracket location is very difficult to see or reach. Lay on your back, head on the brake pedal, bright light, etc. Maybe yours is similar. Maybe the bracket itself is in the parts catalog. |

It Wouldn't Happen to be IN a Bracket For THAT Flasher, Secured to the COLUMN, by a Spring Steel Clip that's Sits Around the Column, (& POSSIBLY Retains ANY of the Wiring Harness Running Down the Column.....) ????? I CAN'T Say that was STOCK OEM Location, BUTT I Seen ONE set up Like that, a Million or seven Years ago...... Just TRYING to Help........

it was supposed to be in that bracket up on the column near the cluster... it was slightly moved and I would almost swear hidden..
