Can anybody advise me on what combination of 3 groove pulleys I need to source to put aftermarket vintage air in my 70 Javelin?   I would like to run the standard water pump and 7 blade fan/shroud.   The vintage air setup has a two groove compressor.   I have an original compressor mount and idler pully.   I know there is a difference with the 4 and 3 bolt crank pulley.   Did AMC make a three grove - 3 bolt crank pulley?  If yes - what year 3 groove water pump pulley lines up?

Technically you just need one groove on the compressor. 71 to 74 only used one groove. Its not a 72 only thing to use 2 grooves.

Just use the groove that aligns with your existing setup. I bet the reason they use a two groove is for cross compatibility for all years, and jeeps.

I gotta think about if AMC made a 3 groove, 3 bolt pulley for the 67-72 engines? I know they did for the '73 and up (4 bolt).
