I had a problem with a vacume leak that did that. It happened faster than 5 min though. Once the choke started to open it would run worse until it stalled. Try spraying something flammable (starting fluid, Carb Cleaner) around the intake and base of the carb. If the engine rev's or smooths out, that may be it.

Other then what has already been stated, electrical issues sometimes show up with heat. Example would be a cold vs warm coil, bad wire... If you have an inductive timing light, use it on each ignition wire to "see" your firing on all cylinders when warm. Just eliminates the ignition system as being an issue.

Sounds very similar to a non road vehicle I have. Ran perfect till warmed up, then just die. often immediate re-start then die again. Went fuel side, through everything. Spark was great, or so I thought. Once coil reached certain temperature, internal failure and no/poor spark. shutting down a few seconds to a minute cooled enough to be great spark again. New coil, back to perfect.
