The local old timer at jays machine shop will not answer the phone ever. I think its a generational thing with grumpy mechanics lol.

Gotta rehearse your story, get it short and sweet, so that the counter-mammal can relay it to the grouchy machinist. Give 'em a reason to want to talk to you! Or just drop it off with a note and hope for the best. That's my experience anyway.

Estimate 1500$. I went for it. Now I'm just waiting. Hopefully ill have it back next week. Hopefully nothing else crapped out after sitting about 4 weeks
