We just purchased a 1964 AMC Rambler Classic 770.
2 door hard top coupe 287.

It came missing the floor covering.
The exterior is turquoise body/ white top.
Interior is same color scheme.

Does anyone know if a floor covering listed for "American" will fit my Classic?
There are a lot of parts listed under "American" model.

Also, how is the new floor covering adhered to the floor?

Looking at Galvin's and on Ebay.
Any other good sources for parts?

Thanks and God bless!!

Update:

A search indicates the American had a shorter wheel base than the Classic.
I was looking at a turquoise floor set for a Rambler American.
That might be too short.
We have a really good auto upholsterer up the road from us.
He is going to take a look at it.

Thanks for any other input.

God bless!!

Cars of that vintage typically had cut and sewn carpet, not molded carpet. An upholsterer should be able to make it easily.

Located usually near Rochester, NY and sometimes central FL.

You might check with SMS Auto Fabrics to see if they have pre-made carpet.  If not, the probably have the correct fabric for your upholsterer.

This company lists cut cut and sewn carpet kits for your Classic.
