If you plan on doing a lot of flares, you can't beat this tool. I bought this, along with the 37* set for doing AN fittings. I hand built the entire fuel and brake system for my 67 rambler. Used braided steel and AN fittings at the tank, regulator, and carbs. Standard fittings everywhere else. All copper/nickel lines. Spendy, but it pays for itself in time saved. Bob tufcj

I've had good experience with NAPA's polymer coated bulk brake line. Will have to try the copper nickel line. Twice the price but in reality it's just not much money.

+1 for that tool! It's so easy to use and has worked perfectly each time. FWIW, I use a Ridgid 377 for my 37° flares.

The Eastwood tool works great. The only thing that I didn't like about it is that you have to bring your tubing to the tool. You can't use it on the car as it needs to be mounted in a vise. I also used copper/nickel on all my brake lines and fuel lines. In some cases, it almost bends too easily and will kink if you're not careful. |

I have the Eastwood flaring tool mentioned by tufcj. It works very well. I bought the additional AN dies, too.
