A matched set! lol. Yeah, they're always parked for a reason, and that reason is rarely a good one!

Oh...and when pulling the head. We noticed that the head bolts on the passenger side were nowhere near as tight as the drivers side bolts.

Well there you go. No one ever torques the head. If it had antifreeze, that's a good sign. (We're reading tea leaves here....) Could be a simple gasket leak (lol, not that simple) and if someone was sensible enoguh to park it when it exhibited symptoms, lucky you.... the usual solution is to just keep driving and adding water.

THe likelihood of that engine (for reasons of it being 195.6 OHV) having been overheated are very high. I would still disassemble the head and have it boiled and cracked. If you ever sold it you'd more than recover that cost, these heads are gettign scarce (though they probably don't sell like hotcakes). Documented crack free would be a big selling point.

Well we will toss all of our 4 leaf clovers, lucky rabbits feet at it and hope for the best.
