need help... i have a 74 javelin ,it had a/c but the last owner removed the compressor and left the hose from the inside of the car threw the firewall along the fender just hanging there,there are two rubber vac lines and the hose ,i wan't to cut and cap these under the dash , can i do that with out any problems it looks like #### HOTROD

I would try to remove the A/C lines and plug the holes in the firewall. Cut hoses in the engine bay would still look ugly. As for the vacuum lines, don't they operate the heat/vent/defrost damper? And if they do I would think you would want to at least have that much operational. If not I would make sure there are no open vacuum ports on the intake manifold open/unoccupied.

Vacuum line are probably from charcoal canister.
