I am having difficulty separating one of the under-dash electrical connectors, specifically the key/headlight warning buzzer. The buzzer is not working so cleaning the connections seemed an obvious thing to try. I can reach up under the dash and grab each section of the connectors between the thumb and forefinger, but can't generate enough strength to disconnect them (probably has something to do with being in such an awkward position). Anyone know any tricks or special tools to make it easier to separate a sticky under dash connector?

channel locks usually work when they get stuck tight like that.

The channel lock pliers sort of worked.
