I'll throw a few pics at you, hope it helps. -Steve- Stock plate (left) and Caltrac plate (right).  Template made to fit the stock plate.  I cut the two small shock tabs off the Caltrac and mounted it on the template. Cut the shock mount section off the original and fitted it on the template then tacked in place.  Welded in place.
