I changed mine to blue and then added small led's to fill the dark areas that these clusters have.
This is before the added led"s.    This is after.  I'll get you a link to the harness wrap I use. I use two different kinds.

OE auto electrical tape has no adhesive. AMK has the correct thick stuff like was used on the OE harnesses. |

Ok so that's cool... do they make black light leds? The blue is sweet but I'm wondering if it would be too much with the fluorescent colors.

There's a number of different color led's you can get. Since my car is blue and the dash face is blue, I went with blue. It's not as intense as the picture shows. It's easy on my eyes. I use this harness tape https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09VCKGL9D/ and I also use 3M linerless rubber tape that will stick to it's self. There's a rubber splicing tape as well. That I use outside the car generally. I'm not into "correct" but rather a better product that works for me.

So my final bodywork (panel gapping) got held up by the door hinge rebuild..... I'd purchased puns and bushings from one of the vendors..... only to find out after the fact they were just as was discussed here, sloppy. Anyway I wet to pull the cluster and cluster support yesterday only to find much cracked plastic in both items. Why did I do this? Well, I needed to get to the drivers door hinge, I also needed them removed in order to install my new harness. Anyway, the original looks like an absolute cf.... no one has been in this harness it's as it was from Kenosha, it looks like a rats nest..... I restore aircraft for my vocation and this makes me understand what turrets must feel like. I feel as if I'm going to have an aneurysm.
