I'd say that KYB has the wrong shock listed, even if it fits.

............ no. The KYB Gas A Justs have an ungodly amount of pressure in them. It took most of my 210# carcass to compress the ones I had. The front of my AMX dropped an inch when I removed them.

That it takes so much to compress them and that they lift the front end so much is why I say it doesn't sound like it's really the correct shock for the application. I understand why they are high pressure, but if they lift the car like that a shorter shock would be a better fit. KYB lists the same shock for all 66-69 American/Javelin/AMX models. If it lifts the front of an AMX an inch I wonder how much it would lift a six cylinder American?
