Installed. Waiting for fittings to connect the brake line. I moved the output to the outboard side for easier access to the spark plugs.

I bought the 15/16" bore.

I contacted Wilwood about which master cylinder is used with their AMC caliper/disc kits. The 15/16" are used with the 4-piston calipers and the 1" is used with the 6-piston calipers.

Eventually I'd like to upgrade to the 4-piston Wilwood calipers and discs so the plan is to use the new master cylinder with the stock system until I spring for the rest of the Wilwood system.

Made the bracket for the oil catch can. Media blasted, painted and got it mounted. Found I have a caliper leaking, new caliper should be here Thursday.

Always something.

Got the car back down on the ground and took it for a test.

The good news it the pedal doesn't run out of travel, plenty of room between full down and the floor board. Was concerned about that since Wilwood uses this master cylinder for their four piston calipers that have smaller diameter pistons.

The bad news it takes a lot of pushing to stop the car reasonably. Maybe my discs are glazed over or the pads aren't that good. The driver's side was leaking so maybe there's residue greasing the skids.

I'll probably take brake cleaner to it all and see if it improves. Eventually I'll get the Wilwood four piston setup.

They make pressure gage kits for brake systems that screw into the bleeder port.  I have one I can let you borrow.  This is the best way to confirm that the master cylinder/brake pedal is good.  You have to have enough leverage on the brake pedal (I seem to remember 6:1 for manual, 4:1 for power), and the M/C bore size has to be right.  I had a car that was only getting 600 psi at the caliper, I had to drill the brake pedal to get more leverage.  Do a bit of research, I think 1000-1200 psi is the range you want to be in.
Pads make a difference as well.  I had to replace the wilwood pads with an aftermarket brand to get more initial bite when driving.  Wilwood makes stuff for race cars, and the brake pads are made for that application.
