if you are going to replace the gauge,  you need to find out what that gauge requires

I have that information But the manufacturer said they could fit it to any specific if I knew what the ohm reading is but if that is all I need then I will just order it but I was trying to make sure there is no more problems that’s why i was asking for the original ohm reading

So you are using an aftermarket fuel gauge with oem sender? You may think of using an aftermarket sender as they read high from the get go. If memory serves me correct, an aftermarket replacement can be adjusted up to 90 ohms if not a tad higher, if needing to fit within the new fuel gauges specs. Some after market gauges like higher readings than factory.

If the gauge manufacturer is going to match the fuel sender you have, you should remove the sender and measure its resistance at its limits just to be sure.
