I went to the shop in Los Angeles yesterday and took a look at the progress of the "Zero".
The "A" pillars are being constructed using pictures and measurements since they were missing. The body is being put back together as a single solid piece. After the body is completed, paint ready and in primer, the molds will be made. There will be several big pieces, maybe 4 in total for the entire car. are you using [-img] and [-/img] before and after the image link address ?
( eliminate the - (dash) from the above preffix and suffix )
( included so text would show up in this post ) Edited by PHAT69AMX - Aug/14/2007 at 9:30am |

Tom...instead of using http inside the brackets replace it with img on both ends like Phat said. Everything else including forward slash stays the same. I've used 650 width on this site no problem but usually go with 500 for more pics. This site doesn't seem to have any issues with lots of pics which is why I like it so much! I took the liberty to put your pics up for you.
Dean Nice job so far. Keep us posted. |

Reconstructing the area around the windshield frame is the hardest part, since the "A" pillars were lost years ago. We do have pictures and measurements of an steel Italiam AMX/3 to go by. Tom

Thanks Guys,
Clockwork Orange is my number one all time favorite film. Followed by Mad Max (the first one).
MM, feel free to move this topic if you like. This thread will evolve into the making of molds and reproduction AMX/3 "Pushmobile" fiberglass panels over the next month as I add more pictures. Has anyone received their July/Aug AMO newsletter "American Motoring" yet? Tom Edited by AMX390 - Aug/15/2007 at 4:11am |

Tom,
the 'url=' line is what is giving you problems. If you just paste the link between the img and /img tags you will be fine. |

Maybe we should move this thread to "Restoration" ?
Thanks for the photos, Tom! I sense a long and fascinating story developing here.
