Will free flow manifolds bolt up to 69 heads? If so, is there some benefit even though the heads aren't the dogleg style?

yes but you need to use the rectangle port gaskets so they are not as effective on the early heads as the later ones. Nonetheless, they will still add around 6-8 HP to your engine if you also use 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 head pipes.

I did as Dan said but port matched the gasket to freeflows. Been on there for about 3 years and not leaking, I did completely smooth them out to look like headers and wished I had kept a picture of them. they along with the 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent exhaust thru  a X  pipe and magnaflows added about 500 RPM. I was choking it down with the 2 in plus all the bends going to the side exhaust.

Got the car back last night with the 2 1/2" SS pipes and Magna Flows, now all I have to do is re-engineer the parking brake, looks like I'm going to have to move it all forward and get custom lenth cables,,,,,any ideas ????

Thanks, Mike  Confused
