I'm out on Cape Cod where my dad lives for a few days and also where ArnieG is close to completing his 70 AMX shadow mask.   Been a long road on this build but it's really close to driving down the road!!   The car will be going to the shop in a few weeks for final engine set up the rest is just some glass and interior stuff.   Arnie is hoping to drive to the AMO show this July and I'd say that's very possible!!   Car looks great.....390, R4B 4 speed, go-pac, Frost White shadow mask with black leather. Here's a few pics.... It's a ram air car but I like the screens on the scoop!!

I didn't bring mine out this time.....I've had it on the cape a few times and even picked up a nice show trophy a few summers ago.   They have lots of nice cars out this way and Arnie's will likely get lots of attention once it's on the road.    There are actually several AMX's and Javelins on the cape.   Last year Arnie and I visited a guy that has collected several Trans-Am cars and has a TA/Javelin in the collection.   Very impressive!!   My car will be here in July before the AMO show in Boston.   I'll be spending a few beach days at my dads house which is on Cape Cod bay and has private beach rites.
I spent most of my summers here growing up and to me there is no place on earth I love more....

Thanks Chuck for the pictures and the thumbs up everyone. Not a perfect car it's really a nice clean driver which won't be parked next to Chuck's car ever.Big smile Only took me four body shops to find some one who stood behind their words and gave a rats a*s. Rick Johnston and his brother did the engine rebuild so I know i'm good there. Car was pretty dirty when Chuck took the pictures, I took the car cover off a couple days before and that's all the time the Shadowmask needed. Don't know if i'll keep the ram air screens on indefinitely but I just like the look a long with the 69 rims. Joe that was a reallllll nice inflator bottle thanks !
