Can anyone tell me if there is a replacement user fuse for the small 4 amp fuse that operates the fuel and temp gauges. My car is a 4 spd with a/c and I intend to remove the low fuel warning harness and relay? Thanks and Happy AMC'ing

Will removing the relay change anything with the fuse?

Do you mean, are replacement fuses available for purchase?

AMCs of that era use SFE fuses, and they are available for purchase. They're odd by today's standards. But O'Reilly's carries them, in "assortments", which means you'll get 10 you don't want for the one you do.

If you have a local electronics retailer, you could try there as well. You can order from places like Digikey or Mouser, but the shipping will be more than the part.

As Tom said, it is an SFE-4.
