Does anyone know where these black wires coming from the instrument cluster goes? I’m tracing all of the wires that were cut off in the car that I bought and these aren’t in the service manual.

What car?  Year?  Model?

Do you have a factory Technical Service Manual? I wouldn't attempt whatever you are trying to do without one. Find an original, even if dogeared and greasy -- the factory illustrations and large fold-out schematic get ruined in the repros and CD copies.

Everything works on the cluster but it won’t light up. All of the thin black wires “I believe it’s 3 or 4 of them” have been snipped and I can’t figure out where their connection points. I bought the Technical Service Manual but I have not seen these particular wires in the book.

Black wires, especially individual black wires, are almost always ground wires that get attached to various metal portions of the body. Do these wires come from or lead back to a wiring harness?
Long time AMC fan. Ambassador 343, AMX 390, Hornet 360, Spirit 304 and Javelin 390. All but javelin bought new.
