Have some NOS blower motors. Carter brand with their part# 26-8534, and AMC part# 3217296. I know what the AMC part # is supposed to fit, but when compared to a Gremlin motor this supposedly fits, the vent hose hole is in a different location than original and wiring comes out the rear of the case and not the front like the original, so likely a wrong AMC part# on box. Parts book says for 72+ Gremlin, Hornet & Javelin, and 73+ Ambassador & Matador. From an JEEP/AMC parts warehouse and would be a pre-1981 part. Anyone know what models this fits if any? Maybe my parts book is partially wrong. Any help appreciated.

It's for an AC car, as it has the cooling tube hole.

Sounds like you may need a blower motor, but the "no low" setting may very well be the resistor.
