I'd like to get my 1970 AMX dash light to work again but the original is corroded beyond repair (see photo below). Do any of the vendors sell a kit to restore the metal portions? or am I forced to find a replacement via the "wanted" section?

You would be better off just to put a want out for a good 70 to 74 map light for Javelin.

...and then install an LED! Those things seem to die from heat. The contacts aren't great to begin with, the high resistance adds heat. "Festoon base". Love that weird name. |
