You have to get under the rear of the car to see the drain gap in the rear lip of the quarter panel drop offs. Once you see it you can then easily locate it by feeling along the lower edge of the quarter panel. Most of the cars I've seen have had this opening plugged with some sort of hard caulk material.
Hopefully yours will be clear because without that opening to allow debris and water to exit that space you'll likely have that whole area filled with dirt, media material and who know what else. Back in the day we used to clear this area out using an opened up coat hanger to dislodge the debris with a vacuum cleaner and compressed air !
