Interesting that the price can go up on a product they can't even supply and I'm not sure why people would order products they know they may never get, seems to me the tail is wagging the dog if they are complaining about low sales volume.

Approximate numbers for 1969:
60,000 AMX/Javelin, 600,000 Camaro, regardless of other models with the same engines.
A AMX/Javelin is worth about $30,000 and a 69 Camaro is worth about $60,000.
10x the volume of cars at 2x the value.
Not to mention that the SBC and BBC were produced for 10x longer years.
If going to market, which would you supply with parts?
And you can buy a complete new 69 Camaro shell and build it from scratch!
Rarity and market value don't always align.
Your going to likely loose if your into AMC as an investment.

I talked to Vic Jr when he was at a show and asked him why Chevy heads are so cheap and AMC heads are 3 times the cost and he just said I don't sell as many of them. To which I said they're maybe 1000 AMC people out there and everyone would buy a set of your heads if they were priced like Chevy and he said the molds cost more to make and walked away. Maybe a 3D printer is our future head maker?

You could 3d print an AMC intake as many factory intakes are plastic. Block the crossover well and heat would not be an issue.
3D printing metal is not cheap! Last one seen a video of was $7000 for a 4 cylinder. Then it needed guides, seats, valves ...

As far as the heads are concerned I personally would buy the Indy SR heads. I have a set and never had 1 issue with them. You don't have to max port them and make racing heads out of them if you don't want to. But there is lots of potential there.

As far as Intakes are concerned the Indy intake does have a lot of volume. But if you are after a super victor/victor it is probably not to far out of size.

Indy has been kind to the AMC enthusiast.  It would be a horror show for us to lose Indy as an AMC parts vendor.

I had my CNC300 heads and block on back order from Indy since 11-1-21 and just got them a month or so ago. They told me it was going to be at least 6 months and it was pretty well what they said. I did call them several times checking on the stuff.

Call Indy and ask. They were very helpful and straight forward with me.
