This is some sad news, for all AMC engine builders. Is there any one here on the forum that could verify this date. Copied and pasted this off JEGS. Hope it's wrong I've been waiting a year+ already. Estimated to ship direct from manufacturer on 06/30/24 , pending manufacturer availability. I feel Edelbrock really likes screwing over the AMC people.

AMC market demand is a onesie twosie demand on a good day.
Can't see a manufacturing facility issuing a high priority

Could be a typo but i doubt it. Summit probably hasn't   updated their info yet. I'm going to the Denver mile high nationals in couple of weeks and hunt down the edelbrock vender tent and see if i can get a straight answer. Worse case would be them telling me is they have stopped making the 7531. We'll see what they say. thanks

I've been waiting for my Victor since August of 2020 (yes, nearly 2 years).  Last update I got from Edelbrock was late September, early October.

Vic JR sold Edelbrock to an investment banking firm about 10 years ago , as he only had daughters to take over the company and they did not seem all that interested in the job. While Vic JR was alive he was still the driving force even though he no longer owned the company. Since Vic JR died Edelbrock is full corporate especially since the company head quarters was moved to Mississippi . Covid was not helpful either. With out covid things might have been a bit different. Things will NOT get back to normal most likely for another year. With banking people running things (never a good idea in my opinion) Edelbrock is only making GM stuff , small block , BIG Block and specifically LS engine parts. And yes I've been checking Edelbrock as I'm looking for an air gap manifold myself in the future . If it is any consolation the FORD and Mopar guys are in the same Edelbrock boat as the AMC people are . None of that stuff is getting made either , as are Buick , Pontiac and Oldsmobile. None  of there Edelbrock parts are getting made right now either. And yes, I checked.  I can really blame the money guys , the GM parts are what sells and where they make the most money. At some point in another year they get back where we and every one else can our Edelbrock parts, BUT I'm not looking for until at least 2023 or maybe even latter in 2024. LRDaum

I ordered a few from my suppliers back in August 2020 and knew it would be a long time.   I did sell off a brand new one to a fellow Forum member a little while ago.   I probably could have gotten 100.00 over MAP listing if I was that kind of guy.

Good thing I order my cylinder heads back in August 2020 also.  Those I got a few months ago.

I have been waiting for one since I bought the car in 2020, I have emailed Edelbrock several times, they keep telling me to check back in 3 months. Lost faith in them, same issue with heads. Think there is not enough need to justify a production run.

That's exactly what I heard directly from Edelbrock.   Such a low demand and low quantity on back order that they're very low on the list.   I'm just going to wait.   I had a $100 off coupon from Jeg's when I ordered mine and they've gone up nearly $100 since then.  I wouldn't get the coupon back, so it would end up costing me nearly $200 more to cancel and re-order.
