I paint all my oil filters engine color, as that how the came from the factory when new. When they painted the engine the oil filter was painted also. LRDaum

Magnum 500s 225-60-15 on 7 inch wheels, 4 1/4 backspace 245-60-15 on 8 inch wheels, 4 1/2 backspace BF Goodrich Radial TAs raised white letters Figure this will be a good starter set and a good driver set. Not ready to spend the big bucks on the redlines or Firestone raised white letters.

Ian, these are the original valve covers off the 390. Sent them to Knox Custom Chrome in Tennessee a few years ago for rechroming. I know originally the factory chrome covers didn't look as nice as these turned out, but I like them anyway!

Thought I'd post a pic of how I ran my fuel lines of my Holley/Quick Fuel 4150 series carb. As you know, the standard fuel logs can't be used if you plan to run the stock coil mount. I wanted to keep it stock appearing for the most part, and these fuel lines should be hidden under the ram air base. I took 2 90 degree 3/8 inverted flare fuel lines, faced them towards each other, then put a tee in between with a 5/16 fuel line coming out to go to the stock AMC fuel filter.

Also got my wheels and tires installed. I like the stance but sitting a little high both front and back. Hopefully it will settle an inch downwards eventually. I haven't set the torque links or tightened the front and rear suspension parts either. Apologies for the dusty car, once I get it done it needs a good buff and wax. Haven't decided on trendsetters or the stock rocker trim. I have both set ups, leaning towards trendsetters.
New Magnum center caps from PG Classic appear to be good quality. Emblems from Gary at Quality Lapel Pins. |

I also adapted to keep the coil in the stock place. Make sure you watch the fuel lines, after 10 years mine were drying up and cracking.

Thanks Tony. Did you run the fuel line over the coil clamp or under it? Hard to see in your pic. Not sure how was routed originally?

I went under and doubled the line through a bigger hose to avoid rubbing damage.
