Here's a good article on the new refrigerant: I hope it gets colder, therefore is more efficient (can use smaller, lighter components), because it seems like more of a PITA to use. If less than 98% pure it can't be recycled as other refrigerants are, has to be recovered and destroyed. To me that indicates it might a blend of several chemicals, but I didn't research the chemical makeup.
