Hello everyone! We are Control Freak Suspension, an American manufacturer of world-class AMC suspension and chassis parts. We were acquired by BMR Suspension back in September of last year and since then, have been working hard behind the scenes to improve the designs and stock inventory to better serve our customers. We are still avid fans of the AMC brand and are proud to continue supporting and manufacturing parts for its vehicles. We're happy to stick around in here to answer any questions or tech help you may have on our suspension and chassis kits.

You can continue to purchase products online and inquire about potential kits through our website. We are happy to announce that all Control Freak parts now ship free via UPS Ground to the 48 contiguous US states:

I have purchased quite a few products from Al over the years. I have always been happy with the product, and ALWAYS extremely impressed with the communication and customer support from him. Even through some adverse times he experienced. Always felt his passion for the hobby and the industry.
If you guys can carry on even half the support (preferably the same amount of course) I am sure you will do well. Thank you for taking over for Al so he can enjoy a well deserved break! And we can continue to enjoy the great products.

I have the full front and rear kit on my 67 Rambler.  I'm impressed with the quality and fit of the kit.

Totally agree but the bigger issue for me is using rod ends for everything instead of poly bushings for a street car. That kept me from buying one when I built my car and I won't recommend it to anyone.

Installed their products on a number of cars and love their products.

My only complaint is they switched to rod ends for all of their AMC upper control arms. They are real pain when it comes to setting up the alignment and most alignment shops charge an outrageous price to align them. As they say, leave your little wallet at home and bring your big wallet.

Not great for a street car when all you want is the stock configuration and your not looking for a zillon degrees of adjustment like on a race car or road course car.

Their original coil over conversion kits had non-adjustable upper control arm. I sure miss them.

I've had the full front and rear setup on My 70 AMX for about 15 years. Best thing I ever did to the car.

On the eagle coilover kits, how much ride height adjustment is there? I have issues with what was supposed to be javelin springs, and negative camber. Could i get like maybe 2 inches of lift from stock height with the coilover? Im sure the adjustable upper arm would help the camber problem.

Had CF front end installled on my 70 AMX and it made night and day difference.  Took a good bit of weight off the front end and the ride is much improved on the street.  The adjustability allows it to corner like it's on rails when I do track days.  The integration with Wilwood brakes provides huge confidence even on big tracks like Road America.

Al was awesome consulting with me on spring rates and settings for the coil overs.   Great product and great communication. Not cheap, but worth every cent to me as the product more than exceeded my expectations for its intended purpose:  make the car more comfortable to drive on the street, and enable a huge increase in performance on road courses.
