I have a ‘73 Javelin AMX with power brakes. Was wondering if anyone knows what pieces are required to attached the brake pedal arm to the brake booster rod going to the engine bay. Looks like a bolt and the nylon/plastic pivot?
I took mine apart and apparently lost the bolt that goes through the two, if that’s what it is. Any help would be much appreciated!

I still had the nylon pieces that fit in the end of the booster lever, and already had a new brake switch, so I did some measurements and bought a grade 8 3/8” thread 1-1/2” long hex head bolt. Should work just fine! Hope this helps someone in the future, because I found almost nothing on the subject when I searched.

Do not under any circumstances use a regular bolt and nut. The nut will back off of it. Ask me how i know?
Contact dave (javjav) here on the forum. He will have what you need.

His kit uses a normal bolt and nut, too. |

Daves kit uses a sleeve to go thru the switch and the nut he uses is not a regular nut, its a vibration proof nut.

I have the original nylon sleeve, so it’s not directly on the bolt.
