My buddy has a '68 Hialeah Yellow Go Pack 390 4 speed (Converted) AMX. Other than being a Go Pack car, the only option is the tilt wheel.

Body work is laser straight in primer and ready to paint. He's leaning towards a blue. he found the 2 sample online. The first looks like a stock color to me. The second I don't believe is. The second blue is also the car that got him thinking blue in the first place. (After black, BMW orange & green and the Ring Bro's goldish '72 AMX.)

He's all over the place, changing his mind every other 15 minutes. Trying to help him out here.
I'm hoping that we can get an array of samples here of the three 1968 blues. Saturn, Caravelle & Blazer. And since he's not limiting himself to stock (Or even to AMC colors in all...) maybe a '70 Electric blue.

HELP before he drives us BOTH nuts. (Neither of us have that far to go! Wink)

Electric Blue is a 71 color, not 1970.

Look up 1975 corvette bright blue poly. It is very close to Electric Blue, just a hair brighter.

It is also a 76 Corvette color. May just be called Bright Blue Metallic. There are plenty of 75-76 blue Corvette pictures online.

If staying factory is not in the plan, there are hundreds a blues that can be contemplated. Go to a paint supply store or a body shop to pick the colour.

I really like Beale Street Blue, but YMMV.

Caravelle Blue from 68 and Beale Street from 69 are both great choices. There are a bunch of nice blues to choose from, like BB69 said.
