Got the car out for the second time over the weekend, only got make three passes but I was able to get a personal best of 10.06 at 136 mph and it was HOT. Also my first wheels up launch, which was fun. Andy

Thanks, apparently Garrett did a nice job setting up the clutch! Hoping to get it back out again, and maybe get it working a little better. I’d really like to get a 9 second slip this year. It appears the HP is there just need to leave with a little more rpm and a little less wheelie. Andy

I forgot to post this up but I did make it to the track for a third a final time during the 2020 season. I was only able to make 2 passes, but I did make my goal for the year. I have videos but I haven’t uploaded them yet. The first pass I had to lift just before the 1/8 mile mark as I got a little loose. That was unfortunate because it was the cars best 60’ and 330’ to date, but overall at second pass gave me the best ET and MPH to date.
1st pass. 2nd pass 60’. 1.412. 1.477 330’. 4.108. 4.116 1/8. 6.386. 6.340 MPH. 104.05. 110.00 1000’. 8.716. 8.273 1/4. 10.902. 9.913 MPH. 97.47. 136.80 Needless to say, I was pretty thrilled with the 9.913 at 136.80, I’m definitely looking forward to going to some events next year. Hopefully I can get some more wheel time, I’m really still not used to the car. It has been a learning curve for me, previous to this car I had never driven a stick shift car down a dragstip before and the fastest I had ever gone was probably 11.1-something at 117 or so.
