Would be nice to see some AMCs in Joliet IL. These are open track sessions... expect to get five 25 minute sessions each day. Can sign up for just one day. Am planning to attend on Saturday 4/2.
Good opportunity to get car dialed in before autocross season starts, or just go out and have fun testing your limits!

I grew up and still own property about 5 miles from there. I rode motorcycles on the short track on the east end around 2008-2009. I'd love to take a car out on the full track. Bob tufcj

Could've been a fun event, but weather forecast is for 40 degree weather, maybe mix in some rain. Not going to make it.

I used to do the best road racing when the temps were cooler and the track conditions were wet. The engine makes more power and runs cooler. The other drivers don't understand how to drive in the wet. Made a lot of difference. Under dry warmer conditions I was normally a midpack qualifier and finisher. Under cool wet conditions I was in the top 10 or better. Qualified in a deluge at BIR. Top 5. The race was dry. The guys spending more money than me immediately passed me. New slicks and fresh engines made a huge difference in the dry. Wet track conditions are the great equalizer. Drivers conditions, not so much money.... Go and enjoy, you might like it.
