I just purchase a 1969 AMX that had factory A/C but most was removed. The last owner passed away and the family has no idea when the A/C was removed so I have multiple issues to contend with. I'm looking for help with pictures of the compressor mounting and hose connections. I'm also asking for help in removing the dash bezel and cluster as bulbs are out and I'd like to work on that as well.

Here photos of my 68 AMX390 with factory a/c. I made the upper bracket that bolts the compressor to the intake. I am 2nd owner.

Just FYI the compressor bracket in the TSM illustration is of a 67 Bracket that is Cast Iron.  The correct bract is similar, but is aluminum and doesn't have that ear sticking out where it shows a washer/lock washer and nut.....

The dash bezel is dead easy, 3 phillips head screws across the bottom edge facing down.  Instrument cluster has 4 phillips heads around the 4 corners......you have to unthread the speedometer cable from underneath.  68/9 AMX/Javelin dash is very friendly to work on,

Ross, I posted the above illustration Figure 28  of the compressor brackets that are on page 14-12 in the 1969 TSM for AMX< Javelin, etc.

The a/c bracket on my 68 AMX390 is aluminum. See photo
