Does anyone know what choke pull-off a '73 401/4bbl Ambassador would have? It is missing on my car, only the bracket is left. By the FSM, looks like it should be electrically activated, with a single round connector. Theres a yellow wire along the driver's fender well without a home, that looks like it would be the one. The pull-off isn't shown in the FSM wiring diagram either. Does anyone know a good source to find one?

Thanks
Alex

Alex,
The title of the post refers to an anti-dieseling solenoid and the body of the post refers to the choke pull off. Not sure what you are looking for.

I am not familiar with the 4300, but Mike's Carburetors may be able to help. I assume since you referred to it as a 4300 it is a Ford/Motorcraft/Autolite carb. If so, places specializing in Ford carbs might be worth a shot.

John,
I changed the title, as he mistakenly thought he was missing a choke part. He is looking for the anti-dieseling solenoid.

Alex,
I think I have a used one for your '73. It can be yours for the price of postage.
