The tag on the 3 speed manual transmission is: 3215657 and 13-02-024. Is this a T14 or a T15? Any recommendations on a brand of tranny fluid? The TCM says do not use lubricant with extreme pressure ingredients (lead, sulpher or chlorine) seems that is all I have been able to find. Thanks

Run GL4. NOT GL5. If it is a 304, its a T14.

Valvoline Synchromesh MTF, GL4 and 75W90, closer to factory specification.
All manual gearboxes have extreme pressure additives. The no Sulphur/chlorine is telling you to use a GL4 that does not attack yellow metals as purple72gremlin states above. |
