I'm guessing that tail light kits might be at least three months out.

If you're interested please mention it soon so we can get in line for a production run.

Thanks.

Last night I boxed up the right tail light housing and lens.

This morning I scheduled UPS to pick up the package.

So the process has begun.

Where was this when I was looking years ago.
I have on the shelf a Sequential tail light kit from Project Mustang that plugs into the normal sockets.
I cant remember now if they are LEDs or not as it has been way to long since I bought them.

When looking on P M's site they no longer make the kit I have and have been wondering of I could add another socket to each section or area so I would have a total of 8 bulbs not counting the back up light. When the time comes I will need to contact them to see.

I would love to get this kit but I just don't have the money at this time after what I spent on a frame off rebuild of a 81 F100 flare side pick up.
Good luck on a group buy

Thanks Dave,

I think I'm going to have to succumb and get on FB and post on the Javelin/AMX pages there.

Hope we can scare up at least ten

UPS tracking has confirmed that the tail light housing and lens I sent to Easy Performance as arrived there.

If you've been thinking of LED tail lights for your 70 Javelin or AMX, now is the time to come forward and join the effort to get them into production.

As talked about earlier the savings will be real if there is a ten unit order up front.

Just ten units, that's not that many and each of us can save $50.

Please contact me or Easy Performance and let us know.

Does it seem like we will need to modify the tail light housings or lenses, or will everything to thru the existing openings?

1970 AMX, one step forward, one step back. Both steps cost time and money.

The way I understand it is that no modifications to the existing housing or lens will be required.Wiring will go through the original bulb socket holes in the trunk side of the housings.
Each side will probably have four boards due to the unique compartmentalized shape of the housings.
There will be several different choices for sequencing.
There's a video on youtube of different sequences for a 73/74 Charger which will be similar to what will be available for the 70 Javelin/AMX

link was bad so I had to try it again. It's good now.

People will complain that nobody has anything for an AMC yet when an opportunity like this comes up, they all disappear. Angry Good luck!

Thanks for the link I sent them a request. Nice job on yours ! Well done!

Armand,

Thanks for stick-handling this order. The AMC world needs champions like you to convince manufacturers there is a market. While I don't have a need for the 70 tailights, your posts introduced me to this company, and I'm looking at their existing product for 68/69 AMX/Javelin.

If they were fast acting similar to Cadillac and were complete with a diffuser lens that spreads the light evenly I would be interested. It seems to me that a board of LED's would look like " bug eye's".
