I've read a lot of post on electric wiper motor switches for this year (1970) but is there a replacement non AMC type switch for my Car.  I have a console I'd like to put the switch in could use stock switch but looking for alternatives.  Also looked at the the wiring diagrams to the stock switch not sure about wiring with maybe rocker switch and 2 relays. I don't care if variable works as long as I have 2 speeds. My electric motor has 4 wires, red, black, blue and yellow. They are on 2 different plugs but I can cut and soldier them in however I need to. I wired car from scratch so I can run whatever I need to just want to make it work. I'm not going to use washer bag so don't need to wire that.  I know I can convert motor to Motorcraft style but I already have a nice restored wiper motor from a 1970 AMX.

From the (69) TSM, it looks like you would need a 3 pole, 3 position, Break Before Make switch that can handle at least 2 Amps.

If going non-factory, there are many possibilities. It could be rotary, rocker, toggle, or slide style. Just wire it up as shown in the TSM. Check out vendors such as Digikey or Mouser.

Don't forget the washer motor, which is a push in function on the factory switch. You could replace that with a second switch that has a momentary actuation such as a push button. The TSM doesn't mention the current draw of the washer motor, but I would guess the switch would need to handle 2A as well.
