69-70 AMX or Javelin center console. OE woodgrain has been
removed from OE aluminum overlay, surface
was sanded and then given a brushed aluminum surface,
then clear coated. Shift indicator is clean and clear. Includes courtesy light
harness, but has no light lens. Console door
lock lever is broken so door will no latch closed. Just to be upfront, there are several minor repairs or
reinforcements that were made that can be seen in the close-ups provided, but
not easily seen when the console is installed. Nobody likes surprises, so I tried to show the bad spots as well as the good so you could see a true view of condition. 1) The back of the console was cracked and reinforced
with a piece of aluminum on the inside. 2) Crack on bottom of console box was epoxied. 3) A couple of holes were filled on the left side. $475.00 Shipped lower 48 states. Shift indicator clean and clear. OE aluminum overlay with brushed and clear coated finish. Complete with hinge, lock (broken catch piece), plastic lock cup, plastic latch bracket, door bumpers, ash tray, light contacts and harness, . This shows the broken lock lever. Back of console is reinforced on the inside. This shows the added piece of aluminum reinforcing the back of the console and the underside of the crack repair. (grey epoxy)
Just need to find a new lock and courtesy light lens to complete .
Thanks Dennis |

That's actually a nice '70 console that will fit just fine in a '69. (69's don't have the lock!)

Looks great without woodgrain! Should have made them all brushed aluminum!
