Well. I had to pull the engine again to mount the trans out of the car. Way easier than trying it by myself with a jack under the car. Funny how much heavier those trans are at 60 than at 20. But got it in and mounted the trans cross member. So now I can address the clutch linkage situation. Did get the correct through out bearing, and new rubber pedal pads. I’m using the Bulltear conversion mounts to attach to the 6 cyl cross member. The bad thing about those mounts are they cover the 401 on the block.

Doing some more work on the Rambler. I’ve got the rear end up in place. Now I’m still waiting on the control freak 4-link. I had a used strength axle installed up front but it looked a little worse for wear so I got a new complete front axle assembly am am putting that in now. So here are some pics.
