Hoping to some day paint the whole car, but since it doesn't look too bad, I want to drive for awhile now. Also wasn't expecting paint to get so ridiculously expensive.. I tried some Summit Racing single stage under the hood as an experiment, to see if it is any good. I'll need to practice more, since I've been spraying base/clear for so long, but it seems OK and is reasonably priced. Looking at the green on top with the grey on the sides.

Wow, my brain is fading fast.. since you didn't capitalize "HEI" I thought you were starting a word.. Yea not the prettiest distributor, but it was the best thing I had in the pile. The 6 cyl had an HEI in it when I bought it, so the wiring was already there.

Just been driving it.. but wanted to mention my mileage findings. Best, driving it to work 18.2 mpg. 100 miles round trip with a mix of Eway and in town. Then, drove her to GAD. Roughly 180 miles one way. All 2 lane highway. Worst 19 mpg, best 20.2 mpg. Pretty happy with that. One picture at GAD..

 Still just been enjoying driving it, but the powerhouse 304 needs to breathe better. Well, that or I just want a scoop on it... I don't think the SCRambler scoops look good unless it's a full on SCRambler scheme, so I'll be using something a little more subtle.
