I like the Dairyland Kit. I have the drivetrain sorted out to where I can start playing with adjustments on it, but my concern is that since this was a 6 cyl. car, it's missing a sway bar. I want to get one on there before changing much. Normal driving has been very nice, but I haven't really pushed it yet. I'm guessing I have a better chance of an Elvis sighting, than finding an American sway bar, so I'm going to start looking at alternatives. The Addco site doesn't list a bar for the front of an American.

Looks like a modified Hornet sway will work (thanks SC397) I bent the ends in enough to clear the coil over shock, but in doing that, it will put the bar slightly more forward than the stock mounting location on the frame rails. I modified the control arm by making a more level "pad" to mount the end link to. Similar to the "depressed" area in the '70 and up arms. Only have one side done so far.

Sway bar is in, but haven't driven it yet. Still messing with the exhaust system, and waiting for some parts to show up.

First time with matching rims and tires, in a long time. Was snowing pretty good, so no road test.

What size tire/wheel? I was hoping to run a 17x7 with a 235/50 on the rear of mine. Probably a 17x6 with a 215/? on the front. Bob tufcj
