Finally caught up enough to start on the Dairyland front suspension. Playing with it with the spring removed, it looks like I might just be able to use my 8" rims on the front.

OK, for the good. For the first time in 11 months, "Booger" went down the road again. This time as a 360 4 spd car instead of the 199 three-on-the-tree.
The bad. My mock-up 360 is a mystery motor that was in a Javelin that I bought 15 yrs ago. My 2 mile drive ended with steam pumping out of the breather and a nice clunk as it jumped time and died. Fun while it lasted... What happened to the "browse" feature for adding pictures? Being computer illiterate, the new hyperlink thingie means nothing to me.

It's still there. The square box with a tree in it.

Interesting combo. As mentioned, a mystery 360, '70-'71. Had a dual point distributor in it, but the cap was busted so I dropped in a another mystery piece, this distributor was in a grand Wagoneer that I converted to Pro-flow EFI. Didn't have a usable 4 bbl carb, so I used the 2 bbl from my Commando and a 2 to 4 bbl adaptor plate on the Torker intake.
Fired up easy and actually ran good, well before it died.. New plan is 304 with a T5

Awesome, keep us posted on this. There are always lots of questions on the conversion, and a few ways to do it. I'm still waiting on a clutch pedal to bellcrank rod to get started with mine.

I modified all of the 6 cyl clutch linkage, to work with the T-10. I'm hoping I can do it again for the T-5. The original pieces are in great shape since it's a low mile car.

My first sideways picture.. Anyway, no more 3 on the tree column. Tilt column from a '72 Javelin
