Looking for someone who has a 1963-64 Rambler Classic or Ambassador with electric wipers. Got a couple of questions about the wiring harness.
What color was the sheath,
and did it connect to the switch pigtail in the engine compartment or inside the cabin under the dash?
Have one with decent wires but the cover or sheath is gone off it, it's just the 4 wires with no cover.
The latter is so I know if the wiper motor harness should have a grommet on it, or if that's on the wiper switch pigtail/harness.

The sheath is a clear vinyl.
The harness connects inside under dash.

Bill,
Check out this switch, which has most of the wiring built in.

There is an NOS wiper switch for your car pictured on the Facebook Rambler Classic page right now.  It is for sale by Paul Lehman.  It shows the wiring around the switch.  Joe
