Hope you get to race next year. No circle tracks left in SE Florida. Last dirt track was in Okeechobee and closed awhile back.

I came across this pic from 1999 on FB. In the background is a car I helped on with engine, trans and rearend building..They won a lot with it.

My buddies I help started off the year right. I will be running a few races again this year with the Illinois Vintage racers in the Javelin. Farmer City and Macon at the least. |

Weather and work permitting.. We are going to run the Javelin at Lincoln Ill next Friday night with the Illinois Vintage racers. My first time running with them again in several years.

2nd and last time out this year with the Javelin. It hasn't ran right this year and no time to work on it. I came to the conclusion the secondary side of the carb is gelled up from the pump gas with ethanol I run in it.And it sits 363 days a year. I still ended up 2nd in the feature keeping it under 1/3 throttle to not open the secondaries :)

A few more and Nick Macklin got a 2nd in his feature also. I do all the drivetrain building on his car.
