Looks like the finished headliners will be in my possession by February.
We used a Roof cut from a 1971 Ambassador 2dr as the mold.
These will fit the 1970 Rebel sst and machine. 71 73 matador and the 70 to 73 ambassador. Could be adapted to fit the 68 to 69 ambassador and rebel by cutting the center hole for the courtesy light. These are a hard but flexible fiberglass base and the grained black vinyl is bonded directly to the base. These will never droop or sag again. We have made visor indents and mirror recess to assist in lining up and installing the headliner. There is about a 1/4" to 1/2" extra on sides and rear to trim to fit if required. I will be installing the first one in my rebel Machine. I had 20 headliners made in the first batch. 8 have been spoken for. Due to the size these will have to be shipped by Truck. I will have really stiff shipping boxes made. cost will be $40/box. Should be able to fit 2/box if any friends want to combine shipping. Headliner price will be $890 US plus the box and shipping. I will get some general shipping quotes to say California Florida Washington and New York. Should give an idea on shipping. You can contact me directly at teamamc@gmail.com This way I can keep track of the list. Will also have more 1968 to 1970 Javelin headliners. Starting on the 1971/1972 javelin amx headliners next. ########################################################### I will have pictures of the headliner installed in my rebel machine once we warm up a bit here in the great white north. To assist with alignment when installing, the visor mounts and the mirror mount are indented. There is also indentations for the seat belt retainers on the side. VERY Very close to the correct 1970 Grain Edited by Teamamc - Feb/25/2021 at 10:41pm |

I know three people who purchased and installed them in their cars. They are very happy with them. They also commented on how easy the installations were.

Steve -
Shipping (by truck) and customs could be an issue. I had a handful of these shipped to my business last fall. I have a customs account with Canada that we needed to use. Contact Bryan (Teamamc) for more information in getting these to you. He is always most helpful. |

I have lots left.
Still trying to figure an easy way to get them into the states. They have to be palletized and shipped by truck. We only made black headliners. once installed it is hard to tell from the original unless you touch it. I have a couple of weeks off so will revist the customs and brokerage details.
