I'm in Canada so either local PD or RCMP. I've been hassled once in Vancouver for no covers on the lights by a Vancouver traffic cop. I had covers made for when in Vancouver (or areas where it might be an issue) that I have not installed since having them made a year and a half ago. I get thumbs up from most police officers.

I'm up in Canada too on Vancouver island in Victoria, so that one cop wanted you to have covers that conceal the red plastic lights?

yeah, he said only emergency vehicles are allowed to have them. I've never had another issue with a member.

I see it didn't take you long to give it the "Tony Treatment".  Looks stunning!  I wonder if a police car has ever won the American Cup?

Managed to acquire a correct police certified speedometer for the 72. Disassembled, cleaned, polished and painted and then replaced a few broken and missing pieces from my parts stash. IMO it turned out pretty good. Can't wait to see it in the car.
