I'm putting a universal wiring harness from American Autowire in the AMX. Everything is pretty much sorted. Still could use location of the terminals for HIGH, LOW & PARK on the wiper motor.
Thanks for the help guys!

Do a Google search and include "theamcforum" 1969 AMX wiper switch terminals

Thanks for the reply, but I already tried a search that way.
I don't have the original wiring harness. Unless I missed something, the information that I found both here and online only shows the placement of the original wiring harness leads on the appropriate terminals. I'm building a wire harness using a universal kit from American Autowire as a base and using Ford Mustang switches and pigtails. Our AMX is hours away from me stored out in the desert, so having the wiper motor here in front of me to decipher what terminal does what isn't feasible. |

The wiper motor harness is part of the motor assembly. It goes directly from the motor to the switch. None of it is included in the main harness. The TSM shows the connections, but not in the electrical section. There is a separate section for the electric wiper motor. |

I'm not using the original switch or wiper motor harness. Hence the need for the individual terminal functions.

Here's the TSM wiring diagram. You'll have to figure out which terminal on the switch is what. -Steve- |

Didn't Billd talk about the different wiper motors and how AMC used a shunt to get different speeds (how other switches/motors ) don't interchange. Using a Ford based system switch might be much harder to use than an AMC switch that plugs into a AMC motor and wire harness since it is a separate and complete system.
Or use the Ford motor and switch assembly then adapt to the AMC wiper transmission

Interesting thought that I should investigate further.
Still, I would like to act upon my first idea IF SOMEONE WOULD SIMPLY IDENTIFY THE PARK, LOW & HIGH SPEED TERMINALS! LOL!!!
