It's the last flathead engine used in a U.S. passenger car. I believe the Dodge Power Wagon used a H.D. version of the Chrysler flathead six through 1968.

Jezebel, is that serial number (VIN) PT or P1? A P1xxxx indicates a 196 powered American (doesn't differentiate between OHV and L-head) made in the US at Kenosha. A PT xxxxx indicates a 196 powered car built in Canada at Brampton.
