Is the grease-able spring seat bushing that much better than the stock non-grease-able? Is it worth the price difference?
Thx for opinions!!

If racing setup, it will be. For daily driver its not required.
Though you will need greese poly after time. Washes and dirt from daily driving will eventually dry up the poly grease. |

Thanks!
I know it would be better to have the option of greasing as needed, not even sure why I asked the question……lol Why couldn't one drill a non grease-able type and just thread a cert in it???

Technically the shock saddle bushing hardly contorts to the pivot. Meaning it hardly wears under use, unless you have very old bushings, the issue is them breaking down with age. I never seen a new or low milage (75k or less) have a pin that spins freely. When i removed the pins on my saddles, it took a bit of pulling. If anything grease is used to help install the pins. There is not enough angle in the suspension pivot to warrent greased or bearing inserts to the saddles.
I chose to use poly because it was a cheap alternative, and i was on a modding kick. |
