Hey guys, got a 72 javelin that the prior owner put on a Wildwood set up on. Ive never done anything with aftermarket brakes at all. So, where do I get brake pads at once these where out? What do I need to know to order new ones from a parts house or web page?
I know it's probably the most basic question. But if you don't mess with the stuff you don't know. Lol. Help out a noobie at aftermarket parts.

Look at the Wilwood catalog online, see what they offer for the Javelin, see if they match your brakes, if not keep looking, when you have a match it will tell you what pads. If you are not sure call them for a particular pad compound. Save the part number and you can order them from almost anywhere, Summit, Jegs, Speedway, etc

Willwood sells direct, should be pad set 7112, you can choose your compound per your needs.

You gotta start somewhere sometime! I'm not a willwood user; what these folk say. But you can also call Willwood and ask how to identify if there's mystery. Simply tell them what you asked here. Ignorance is not a character flaw. Everyone doesn't know something.

Yeah, I'm going to have to check with Wildwood and see what I can find out. My car has a Chevy 12 rear end with the 5X5 pattern and the front end has a matching pattern. So not your normal AMC set up. It's usually a fuul sized Chevy set up. Plus I'm going to have to find a new brake line to adapt from the stock hard line to the front side located caliper. But not the worst thing. Just got to know what I have to start with.
