Where the !$%#_(* is it? I neglected to eyeball it at installation (and I don't recall one at all) and it's definitely NOT on on the outer circumference where the TSMs (61 to 65) imply. Two separate occasions, paint marked it, rotated with a screwdriver, looking in the hot-air exit square hole, where the TSM says it is.

There's one measly photo in those TSMs, useless.

Anyone have a photo?

If it's a later model replacement it may not have a drain plug.
It might be near the outer edge on the FRONT of the converter, toward the flexplate (which is a little 9-10" round piece, no ring gear). Pull the front shield off and look. I don't recall if mine had a drain plug or not, but have seen replacements that didn't.

Not having one would explain why I can't find it.

I looked in both areas, quite thoroughly (paint marks, bright light, etc).

I never found it; drained from the pan and go.
